Create an app that allows the user (inspectors) to efficiently record and assess the installation of Siderise’s products.
Provide the information that has been recorded from the inspections into a clear and concise report for the Siderise team to review. These reports need to be generated immediately into a comprehensive report that records the quality of installation.
The data needed to be easily updated by the user through the chosen input fields. The app needed to be easy-to-use to speed up the inspection process for the inspectors.
The reports generated also needed the ability to upload photos and other media that had been taken by the inspector using their mobile device.
The app allowed inspectors to take photos and fill in a questionnaire on the products being inspected. All this data is then collated into one report that is sent to the Siderise team who can then use the data to review the installation of all their products.
A backend system was built so the Siderise team could manage the users, make changes to their product range, and manage the locations of the inspections. This also allowed the Siderise team to update the fields on the questionnaire and manage the reporting process.
Provides instant feedback when an input field is incorrectly filled in and will notify the user on what went wrong.
The app allowed the user to embed images and other media to specific fields within the app allowing the report generated at the end of each inspection to be consistent and comprehensive.
The Siderise Inspector App provides a simple, easy-to-use process for recording the progress and quality of the installation of all of Siderise’s products. It allows the user to effectively inspect, record, and seamlessly audit the quality of the installation work. Importantly, this process highlights any issues in need of a resolution.

The target audience for the Inspector App was Siderise’s inspectors, this meant when creating the app it needed to include all the key terms and graphics that would be recognised by the inspectors. The app used Siderise’s existing branding including colours and layouts so anyone familiar with Siderise and their products could pick it up and use the app effectively.
